Glenda is making the most amazing shark quilt. The sharks are a silver blue. I am not certain that my photo has done them justice. She is a meticulous piecer, as you can see by her perfect sashing. Her sashing has a wavy flying geese pattern on it, but when cut the width that Glenda has done, they look like shark's teeth! She has a few more columns to go before she finishes, but it is going to be one fine shark quilt!
How did she make the sharks
ReplyDeleteI believe she purchase the fabric that was black with these blue-silver sharks on it. Then she found some fabric (a small print) with similar colors with a triangle pattern on it resembling 'flying geese', which when used to make a one inch border, looked more like shark's teeth. It is truly remarkable to the eye. The thing I like about quilting is the creative ways individuals put fabric together to make uniquely beautiful quilts.
